## Full-Stack Web Developer (Senior)

• *Location:** Hybrid (2-3 days on-site in Capitol Hill, DC)
• *Salary:** $120,000 - $135,000/year (contingent upon a future opening)

Gunnison is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain critical digital products for the U.S. House of Representatives. This role involves modernizing legacy systems such as HouseCal/Deconflict, Legidex, and Personas, collaborating closely with the House Digital Service team to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions. Deep expertise in both front-end and back-end development is essential.

### Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain custom full-stack web applications.
• Modernize and integrate legacy systems using advanced technologies.
• Build, troubleshoot, and optimize complex ETL jobs and data pipelines.
• Develop and maintain robust REST APIs for various applications.
• Implement Model Context Protocol (MCP) for RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) applications.
• Create and manage administrative content management dashboards.
• Utilize containerization technologies and streamline CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative digital solutions.

### Required Qualifications:

• **Experience:** 10+ years in full-stack web application development.
• **Technical Stack:** Demonstrated capability with HTML, CSS, ReactJS/TypeScript, Nuxt, Node.js, SQL, Redis, and Python.
• **Data Integration:** Extensive experience building and maintaining complex ETL jobs and pipelines, especially with Pentaho Data Integration.
• **API Development:** Expert in building REST APIs using DreamFactory and Directus.
• **RAG Expertise:** Demonstrated expertise in implementing Model Context Protocol (MCP) with proprietary data sources.
• **CMS Dashboards:** Proven track record building administrative content management dashboards using Directus and custom JavaScript/TypeScript/ReactJS.
• **DevOps & Containerization:** Well-versed in Docker, Kubernetes, and building/troubleshooting complex GitLab CI/CD pipelines (including monorepo deployments).
• **Database Skills:** Strong command of Microsoft SQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL database design and querying, including schema optimization.
• **Authentication:** Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Entra App Registrations, Enterprise Registrations, and integrating applications with Entra using OAuth2 and MSAL.
• **Government Experience:** Direct experience with the U.S. House of Representatives and/or the U.S. Senate.
• **Eligibility:** U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency is required.
• **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or High School Diploma/GED with equivalent relevant experience.
• **Clearance:** Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
