Front End Manager-Fairfax

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• **Customer Service Excellence:** Champion and deliver exceptional customer service, effectively resolving customer complaints and promoting personalized service.
• **Front End Operations:** Direct and supervise all front-end activities, ensuring efficient customer traffic flow, cleanliness, safety, and a positive image.
• **Cash Management:** Accountable for cash flow and controls, including safe transactions, register tills, approvals, and handling scan system emergencies.
• **Team Leadership & Development:** Assist with interviewing and hiring front-end staff, provide training and supervision, and make recommendations for employment status changes.
• **Operational Efficiency:** Responsible for achieving budget goals for labor, cash variation, and supplies, while maintaining cost, quality control, and safety awareness.
• **Compliance:** Enforce dress and grooming standards, and ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
• *Qualifications:**
• Strong communication, leadership, team-building, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure and project a positive public image.
• Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting PCs and check stand equipment (registers, scanners, scales).
• Knowledge of interviewing techniques, basic employment law, computer software, and administrative planning/scheduling.
• Physical ability to frequently lift up to 55 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Mental alertness, basic mathematics, and a thorough understanding of front-end policies and procedures.
