Flex Senior Software Engineer - Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Marriott International is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This temporary role involves leading support for new and existing Salesforce marketing platforms.

• *Responsibilities:**
• Serve as a technical architect and hands-on Salesforce engineer, leveraging Service and Marketing Cloud expertise.
• Lead Salesforce development, ensuring best practices, quality standards, and mentoring team members.
• Contribute to technical design, development, and testing while collaborating with partners.
• Deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance technical solutions.
• Review and approve design documents, code, test plans, and deployment plans.
• Make informed architectural design decisions.
• Collaborate with business analysts and product managers to translate requirements into solutions.
• *Requirements:**
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience/certification.
• 6+ years of in-depth Salesforce administration and development experience (security, objects, reports, data management, sandboxes).
• 3-5+ years of experience with consuming web services.
• 1-2+ years of experience with Lightning framework (Aura, LWC).
• Proficiency in AMPscript, SQL, HTML/CSS.
• Experience with Email Studio, Journey Builder, and Automation Studio.
• Solid understanding of web technologies (JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, XML, JSON, Ajax).
• Proficiency in integrating Salesforce with applications using Connected Apps and APIs.
• Experience integrating Marketing Cloud with additional Salesforce instances.
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, SCRUM).
• Strong understanding of Lightning flows and trigger framework.
• Expertise in programming languages like Java and Apex.
• Ability to work independently or in a team within an Enterprise Agile environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• *Preferred Qualifications:**
• Salesforce developer/architect/admin/marketing certifications (Email Specialist, Administrator, Developer, Consultant).
• Experience developing hotel property applications.
• Leadership experience in a sourced environment.
