Join our team as a Hospitality Operations Manager for the Fisher House Program, dedicated to supporting military families in medical crisis. This role demands a seasoned professional with expertise in lodging management within a government context, coupled with strong leadership and compassionate support skills.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Administer and manage daily operations of hospitality or lodging facilities, adhering strictly to Federal and Navy policies, particularly for the Fisher House Program.
- Oversee comprehensive budgeting, financial management, and human resources functions (recruitment, performance management, evaluation) within a government environment.
- Apply expertise in group dynamics, grief processes, and crisis management to provide effective support for families.
- Develop, prepare, and deliver clear, concise, and technically sound reports, presentations, and training sessions.
- Ensure compliance with Navy and U.S. government regulations for managing individuals and teams.
- Facilitate tours with military and civilian leadership, demonstrating understanding of military protocols.
- *Required Qualifications:**
- Minimum of 3 years of specialized experience in the management and administration of hospitality or lodging operations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of hospitality operations, Federal and Navy policies, and the Fisher House Program.
- Proficiency in budgeting, financial management practices, and government human resources policies and procedures.
- Strong understanding of group dynamics, grief processes, crisis management, and available Navy/civilian family support resources.
- Demonstrated ability to perform full supervisory duties, manage teams, and evaluate performance effectively.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with proven ability to develop and deliver presentations and reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to understand military protocols and engage effectively with military and civilian leadership.
