We are seeking a dedicated Fire Protection Engineer to contribute to the safety and compliance of various facilities. This role involves applying engineering principles to design, assessment, and oversight, ensuring adherence to the highest fire protection and life safety standards.

Key Responsibilities (Varying by experience level):

• Apply fire protection engineering principles in design reviews and construction oversight.
• Conduct comprehensive fire safety surveys and risk assessments for diverse buildings.
• Perform and evaluate performance-based engineering analyses to solve fire protection issues.
• Prepare detailed fire protection engineering reports.
• Interpret and apply a broad range of fire and building codes and standards.
• Review architectural and engineering drawings/specifications for fire protection and life safety compliance.
• For experienced professionals: Independently address complex fire protection challenges and serve as a consultant to management and technical teams.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, or an equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating a strong foundation in physical, mathematical, and engineering sciences.
• Experience: Progressive professional experience in fire protection engineering, with a demonstrated ability in tasks such as design review, risk assessment, code application, performance analysis, and report generation. The depth of responsibilities will align with the candidate's level of experience, from applying established principles to leading complex problem-solving and consultation.
• Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities are essential. Proficiency in applying relevant codes and standards is required.
