Financial Management Specialist

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Design, manage, or direct financial systems and operations.
• Analyze complex financial data to provide expert advice and inform management decisions.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and internal controls for financial processes.
• Represent the organization in meetings to resolve financial management challenges.
• *Qualifications & Requirements:**
• *1. Specialized Experience (One year required at the respective level):**
• **GS-11 Level:** Experience designing/managing financial systems, using data to advise managers, creating new financial procedures, and representing in financial problem-solving meetings.
• **GS-12 Level:** Experience directing financial system design/maintenance, analyzing data for management decision-making, developing SOPs/internal controls for financial processes, and resolving complex financial management problems.
• *2. Time-in-Grade (for current/former Federal Employees):**
• **GS-11 Level:** Must have served 52 weeks as a GS-09 or higher grade.
• **GS-12 Level:** Must have served 52 weeks as a GS-11 or higher grade.
