Join our team as a Financial Management Analyst, responsible for crucial financial planning, budget execution, and fiscal compliance within a federal environment.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools (e.g., Navy ERP) for financial data management, supporting budget planning, formulation, and execution.
- Develop detailed spend plans and establish budgetary requirements.
- Execute funds in strict adherence to all applicable fiscal laws and regulations.
- Provide expert advice on fund sources and uses, applying complex financial laws.
- Analyze and interpret financial data to identify and resolve discrepancies or gaps.
- Prepare and review comprehensive financial reports to monitor and control obligations and expenditures, ensuring proper fund utilization.
- Evaluate changes in financial plans and propose strategic courses of action to mitigate deviations.
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to resolve team conflicts positively and maintain high morale.
- *Qualifications:**
- **GS-12:** Minimum one year of specialized financial management analyst experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level (or equivalent private/public sector experience), demonstrating working knowledge of ERP tools and financial principles.
- **GS-13:** Minimum one year of specialized financial management analyst experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level (or equivalent private/public sector experience), demonstrating in-depth ERP knowledge, ability to apply complex financial laws, and manage comprehensive reporting and control.
