We are seeking a dedicated Financial Analyst to join our team, providing essential financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting support. This role requires a strong commitment to service and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Perform comprehensive financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Generate insightful reports and projections using various Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
• Present complex financial data clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
• Plan, direct, and manage programs and activities, including multi-million-dollar budgets.
• Support cross-functional financial initiatives and guide analysis tasks.
• Conduct cost/benefit and other statistical analyses to inform decision-making.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships across departments.
• *Required Qualifications:**
• **Experience:** Minimum 5 years of professional experience in financial analysis, budgeting/forecasting, reporting, and BI tools.
• **Skills:**

* Proficiency in Excel and experience with financial management systems and data structures. * Strong skills in reporting tools, especially with human capital data. * Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation abilities. * Knowledge of public administration principles, including budgeting, finance, governmental procurement, contracting, personnel, and capital project management.

• **Certifications:** Ability to obtain CFA/FPAC Certification within the first three years of employment.
• **Soft Skills:** Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating integrity, initiative, and collaboration.
• *Desired Qualifications:**
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial and operational data, identify trends, and generate insights for long-range planning.
• Preferred certifications in Power BI, Tableau, or SQL.
• *Working Conditions:**
• This position requires an onsite presence and directly supports essential services, demanding availability during government shutdowns, inclement weather, holidays, weekends, and late nights.
• Considered an “excepted” position during government furloughs.
• Primarily sedentary with occasional walking, long periods of standing/computer use, and ability to safely carry items under 25 pounds.
• Requires in-person or virtual presence for meetings and briefings.
• *Security Clearance:**
• Must obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Government security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required for application submission.
