Summary
Experienced Procurement/Contracts Specialist sought for major systems acquisition, managing negotiations, funding, and contract modifications.
We are seeking a highly experienced Procurement/Contracts Specialist to manage major systems acquisition programs. This role requires at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-12/13 in federal service, or comparable experience in the private or public sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead planning, negotiation, and procurement functions for major systems acquisition programs.
- Assist program management with funding requirements and obligation determination.
- Provide expert advice on the timing of contract awards.
- Request, analyze, and evaluate cost and price data.
- Negotiate and execute complex modifications to existing contracts.
Required Qualifications:
- Must meet Department of Defense 1102 contracting qualification standards.
- Must meet Title 10 requirements.
