Summary

Execute complex museum exhibit projects using CAD/CAM software, managing fabrication, mount making, and installation.

Join our team to execute complex museum exhibit projects from concept to installation. We are seeking skilled professionals proficient in CAD/CAM software to contribute to innovative exhibit displays.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Utilize CAD/CAM software for precise execution of museum exhibit projects.
  • Manage projects through various phases including pre-production, fabrication, mount making, and installation.
  • For higher-level roles, mentor staff and integrate advanced CAD/CAM techniques into fabrication workflows.
  • *Qualifications:**
  • *Experience:**
  • **Grade 9:** Minimum one year of specialized experience applying CAD/CAM software to complex museum exhibit fabrication, mount making, and installation.
  • **Grade 11:** Minimum one year of specialized experience executing complex museum exhibit projects through pre-production, fabrication, and installation, including mentoring and integrating CAD/CAM techniques.
  • *Education (in related fields such as illustrative design, commercial art, fine arts, industrial design, architecture, drafting, or interior design):**
  • **Basic Qualification:** Undergraduate or graduate degree or advanced training from a vocational, technical, or art institute.
  • **Grade 9:** Master's or equivalent graduate degree, or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education.
  • **Grade 11:** Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education.
  • *Combination:** A combination of qualifying education and experience may be used to meet requirements.
  • *Important Notes:**
  • Transcripts are required if qualifying by education.
  • All relevant experience, including paid, unpaid, and volunteer work, is considered.
  • Foreign education requires proof of U.S. accreditation.
