Summary
Senior Executive Service leader sought to oversee naval systems acquisition and integration, driving government efficiency.
This Senior Executive Service (SES) opportunity seeks a committed leader to enhance Federal government efficiency, uphold the Constitution, and serve the American people through high-level strategic oversight and leadership.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Oversee the development, deployment, and integration of amphibious, auxiliary, special mission, and small craft systems into interoperable Fleet defense elements.
- Provide expert acquisition management support across the full range of Defense Acquisition Management Policy and Procedures, from development through operation and support.
- *Required Qualifications (Must be demonstrated within your 2-page resume):**
- *Technical Qualifications (TQs):**
- **Naval Systems Oversight:** Experience with the technical, engineering, and managerial capabilities to oversee the development and deployment of various naval craft systems, and their integration into Fleet defense.
- **Acquisition Management:** Proven experience in acquisition management support, encompassing the full lifecycle of Defense Acquisition Management Policy and Procedures.
- *Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs):**
- (Not required for current SES members or OPM-certified SESCDP graduates, who must provide proof of eligibility.)*
- **Commitment to Principles:** Demonstrated knowledge of the American government system, commitment to the Constitution, rule of law, and public service.
- **Driving Efficiency:** Proven ability to strategically manage resources, budget effectively, cut wasteful spending, and improve processes/technology.
- **Merit and Competence:** Demonstrated knowledge, ability, and technical competence to consistently produce exceptional, reliable work.
- **Leading People:** Ability to inspire and lead teams toward organizational goals, fostering a high-performance, high-accountability culture, and managing change.
- **Achieving Results:** Demonstrated ability to achieve individual and organizational results, aligning outcomes with strategic goals.
