Summary
Technical expert sought to analyze, improve, and provide guidance on complex equipment maintenance and operations.
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Maintenance Professional to ensure optimal operation and maintenance of assigned systems and equipment. This role involves in-depth technical analysis, problem-solving, and providing expert guidance to both leadership and technicians.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Analyze and supervise maintenance, repair, and production operations to identify and implement improvements.
- Review, apply, and interpret technical specifications, engineering drawings, manuals, and work orders.
- Assess equipment, forecast spare parts requirements, and ensure compliance with contract specifications.
- Provide expert technical advice, recommendations, and briefings to senior leadership and maintenance teams.
- Identify, analyze, and develop innovative solutions for complex technical problems.
- Design and conduct comprehensive training programs for proper system and equipment maintenance.
- Manage and prioritize workload effectively to meet evolving deadlines.
- *Required Qualifications:**
- Minimum of one year of specialized experience at a GS-11 equivalent level, demonstrating a wide range of maintenance concepts, principles, and practices for specific systems.
- Proven experience in roles such as skilled mechanic, maintenance worker, sales/service engineer, or technical planner/estimator.
- Strong knowledge of safety, security, personnel management, and EEO regulations.
- Exceptional analytical skills for interpreting technical data and troubleshooting complex issues.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills for technical reporting, briefings, and training delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively in a team environment and build strong interpersonal relationships.
- *Education:**
- Bachelor's degree in any field. A Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
