Job Description
Ensure fair employment practices by analyzing EEO laws, fostering relationships, and managing disability programs.
As an Equal Employment Specialist, you will ensure fair employment practices and promote diversity within the organization.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Analyze and interpret new or complex EEO legislation, public laws, regulations, and policies.
* Establish and maintain working relationships with EEOC, national civil rights organizations, and other professional EEO/Diversity affiliations.
* Utilize statistical analysis to identify employment barriers and monitor progress towards EEO goals.
* Coordinate or assist with Disabilities Programs and related activities.
**Qualifications:**
* One year of specialized experience (equivalent to GS-12) in Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO).
* Experience must demonstrate competency in:
* Evaluating EEO legislation, policies, and procedures.
* Building relationships with EEO and diversity-related organizations.
* Applying statistical analysis for EEO insights.
* Supporting or coordinating Disabilities Programs.
* All qualifying experience, including paid, unpaid, and volunteer work, will be considered.
