Summary

Seeking a UI/UX Front-End Developer to design and build interactive web products for intelligence, using modern frameworks and strong design skills.

We are seeking a skilled UI/UX Front-End Developer to design and build intuitive, interactive web products that effectively communicate intelligence reporting. This role involves translating complex data into clear visual solutions and developing functional web applications that enhance user experience.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Collaborate with analysts to conceptualize and develop interactive intelligence products.
  • Design and create intuitive user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) through wireframes, storyboards, and mockups.
  • Write and modify clean, functional code (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) for web applications, including control structures and data manipulation.
  • Establish and maintain design best practices, standards, and style guides for all graphics.
  • Communicate project status, methods, and solutions effectively to team members, managers, and stakeholders.
  • Brief management, mission partners, and senior leaders on digital and web product developments.
  • Design functional websites/applications with real-time and offline viewable elements.
  • *Required Qualifications:**
  • **UI/UX Design Expertise:** Strong understanding of UI/UX concepts, usability, and effective visual communication.
  • **Front-End Development Proficiency:** Expert in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and client-side scripting.
  • **Modern Web Frameworks:** Familiarity with Angular, React, Vue.js, and jQuery.
  • **Design Software:** Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, emphasizing Illustrator, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver.
  • **Database Concepts:** Basic understanding of database concepts and SQL statements.
  • **Communication Skills:** Excellent customer service and clear communication abilities for technical discussions.
  • **Graphic Creation:** Capable of creating original graphics (icons, maps, images).
  • **CSS Pre-processors:** Basic knowledge of LESS and SASS.
  • **Data Visualization:** Ability to visually depict complex data into creative design solutions.
  • *Preferred Qualifications:**
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in UI/UX or Front-end development.
  • Experience with modern IDEs such as VisualStudio Code.
  • Ability to lead projects, ensure quality assurance, and excellent oral communication.
  • Knowledge of system applications, database designs, database programming, and networking skills.
  • *Compensation & Benefits:**
  • Salary Range: $63,653 - $108,210 annually, based on qualifications and market conditions.
