Engineering Specialist/Technician - Mid To Experienced Level (Maryland)

We are seeking skilled Engineering Technicians to provide crucial technical support across diverse engineering projects. This role involves contributing to the development, fabrication, and testing of complex systems.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Provide engineering technical support for the development, fabrication, testing, and site installation of electrical, electronic, mechanical, or software products/systems.
• Assist in assembling, modifying, debugging, and testing prototype products.
• Perform work related to electrical, electronic, or appliance repair.
• *Qualifications & Experience:**
• **Education:**

* Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Engineering Technology related field. * or Associate's degree in an Engineering or Engineering Technology related field. * or High School Diploma/GED combined with applicable Vocational/Technical or Military training (e.g., Electronics, Computers, Drafting, Engineering, Manufacturing, Networking).

• **Required Experience (based on entry level):**

* **Entry Level (Full Performance):** 4+ years of relevant experience with HS/GED and training, or 2+ years with an Associate's degree. * **Senior Level:** 6+ years of relevant experience with HS/GED and training, 4+ years with an Associate's degree, or 2+ years with a Bachelor's degree.

• **Relevant Experience Includes:** Providing engineering technical support for product development, fabrication, testing, or installation (electrical, electronic, mechanical, software); assembling, modifying, debugging, or testing prototypes; electrician or electronic/appliance repair; hands-on experience with computers, robotics, electronics, manufacturing, electronic shop, schematic diagrams, environmental, or quality assurance testing.
• **Note:** Commercial industry certifications (e.g., MASE) may count for up to two years of relevant experience.
