Engineering Specialist/Technician - Entry To Experienced Level (Maryland)

We are seeking skilled Engineering Technicians to provide critical support for the development, testing, and installation of various engineering products and systems. This role involves a blend of hands-on technical work and problem-solving.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Provide engineering technical support for the development, fabrication, testing, or site installation of electrical, electronic, mechanical, or software products/systems.
• Assist in assembling, modifying, debugging, or testing prototype products.
• Perform tasks related to electrical, electronic, or appliance repair.
• *Qualifications & Experience:**
• **Education:** Degree in an Engineering or an Engineering Technology-related field is preferred.
• **Alternatively (with HS/GED):** High school diploma or GED combined with applicable Vocational/Technical or Military training (e.g., Electronics, Computers, Drafting, Engineering, Manufacturing, Networking).
• **Relevant Experience Areas:**

* Working with computers, robotics, electronics, or manufacturing. * Electronic shop experience. * Experience with schematic diagrams, environmental testing, and quality assurance testing.

• Commercial industry certifications (e.g., MASE) may count for two years of experience.
• *Experience Levels:**
• **Entry/Developmental:** High school diploma/GED + applicable training + no experience.
• **Full Performance:** High school diploma/GED + applicable training + 4 years relevant experience; or Associate's degree + 2 years relevant experience.
• **Senior:** High school diploma/GED + applicable training + 6 years relevant experience; or Associate's degree + 4 years relevant experience; or Bachelor's degree + 2 years relevant experience.
