Engineer

We are seeking a **Professional Safety Engineer** to ensure the integrity and safety of complex systems and platforms. This role involves applying safety engineering principles to critical projects, with opportunities available at both senior and developmental levels.

• *Key Responsibilities (Dependent on Level):**
• Perform comprehensive system and environmental safety assessments for aircraft, vehicle, and ship platform integration.
• Apply advanced safety engineering principles to weapon and energetic systems.
• Execute developmental assignments, utilizing fundamental safety engineering techniques and methodologies.
• *Qualifications:**
• *For Senior Level (ND-04 equivalent):**
• At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to a GS-09 through GS-11 level.
• Experience must demonstrate applying safety engineering principles to perform system and environmental safety for aircraft, vehicle, ship platform integration, or weapon and energetic systems.
• *For Developmental Level (ND-03 equivalent):**
• At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to a GS-05 through GS-08 level.
• Experience must demonstrate applying basic principles of safety engineering to accomplish developmental assignments utilizing fundamental techniques, procedures, and methods.
• *Note:** Both paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work, will be considered for meeting qualification requirements.
