Summary
Seeks an Emergency Management Specialist to analyze and lead all-hazards disaster response and recovery plan development.
We are seeking a highly experienced Emergency Management Specialist to analyze, evaluate, and lead the development of critical emergency and disaster response plans. This role requires expertise in federal emergency management doctrines and a proven ability to lead all-hazards planning initiatives.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Analyze and evaluate emergency and disaster response plans and program operations, utilizing federal frameworks such as the National Response Framework (NRF), National Incident Management System (NIMS), and the Stafford Act.
- Lead the development of comprehensive emergency and disaster response and recovery plans for all-hazards scenarios.
- *Qualifications:**
- Minimum one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in federal service, or comparable experience in state, local, or private sectors.
- Demonstrated experience in applying federal emergency management doctrine to plan analysis and evaluation.
- Proven ability to lead the creation of all-hazards emergency and disaster response and recovery plans.
- *For current federal employees:* Must meet time-in-grade requirements of 52 weeks at the GS-12 level or equivalent.
