The Emergency Management Specialist (Recovery) plays a critical role in supporting disaster recovery operations and federal award programs. This position involves managing vital information, collaborating with stakeholders, and contributing to essential policies and communications.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and deliver clear written and oral correspondence, briefs, and instructional presentations.
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to collect, manage, and track critical information for disaster assistance and federal award programs.
- Maintain and update policy, process, and job aid documentation to ensure operational efficiency.
- *Qualifications (Applicants may qualify at the IC-09 or IC-11 level):**
- *IC-09 Level Requirements:**
- **Experience:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the IC-07 level, demonstrating:
- **or Education:** A Master's or equivalent graduate degree, or two full years of progressively higher-level graduate education, or an LL.B./J.D. (if related).
- **or Combination:** An equivalent combination of education and experience.
- *IC-11 Level Requirements:**
- **Experience:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the IC-09 level, demonstrating:
- **or Education:** A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education, or an LL.M. (if related).
- **or Combination:** An equivalent combination of education and experience.
