Job Description
Seeking an Emergency Management Specialist to manage disaster recovery programs, interpret policies, and analyze complex data.
Join our team as an Emergency Management Specialist (Recovery), contributing to disaster response and recovery efforts.
**Qualifications:**
**For IC-11 Level:**
* One year of specialized experience equivalent to the IC-09 level.
* **OR** A Ph.D., equivalent doctoral degree, 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education, or an LL.M. (if related).
* **OR** A combination of education and experience.
**For IC-12 Level:**
* One year of specialized experience equivalent to the IC-11 level.
**Required Specialized Experience (for both levels):**
* Conveying agency policies and technical program aspects to diverse stakeholders.
* Compiling, reconciling, and correlating extensive workload data from various sources with different reporting requirements.
**Additional Required Specialized Experience (for IC-12 only):**
* Providing recommendations regarding the evaluation of major administrative aspects of disaster recovery programs.
Experience may be obtained from federal, state, local government, private sector, or qualifying volunteer work.
