Emergency Management Specialist (Next Generation)

Join our team as an Emergency Management Specialist, playing a vital role in disaster preparedness, response, and recovery efforts. We are seeking candidates at both the IC-09 and IC-11 levels.

• *Emergency Management Specialist (IC-09)**
• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Perform caller services and field operations (e.g., registration intake, helpline, basic case analysis).
• Apply emergency management recovery processes and damage assessment guidelines.
• Provide guidance and advice on disaster recovery issues.
• *Qualifications:**
• One year of specialized experience equivalent to Federal IC-07, demonstrating the above responsibilities.
• **or** A Master's or equivalent graduate degree; or 2 full years of progressively higher graduate education; OR LL.B./JD.
• **or** A combination of education and experience.
• *Emergency Management Specialist (IC-11)**
• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Conduct outreach to external audiences on emergency management programs.
• Evaluate emergency management operations for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develop emergency management operational plans, policies, and procedures.
• *Qualifications:**
• One year of specialized experience equivalent to Federal IC-09, demonstrating the above responsibilities.
• **or** A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; or 3 full years of progressively higher graduate education; OR LL.M.
• **or** A combination of education and experience.
