Emergency Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly qualified Emergency Management Specialist to apply expertise in emergency operations and preparedness.

• *Key Responsibilities & Experience:**
• Apply advanced emergency management principles, theories, and techniques.
• Interpret and implement emergency management directives, regulations, and policies.
• Support critical Emergency Operations Center (EOC) events.
• Develop and assess emergency planning procedures and protocols.
• Provide expert consultation on emergency preparedness to management and technical teams.
• Conduct research and analysis for national security and emergency programs.
• *Requirements:**
• At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NQ-02 or GS-12 federal pay band/grade level.
• Specialized experience must include applying emergency management principles and supporting EOC events.
• *Important Notes:** All qualifying experience, including paid and unpaid (e.g., volunteer) work, will be credited. Federal CTAP/ICTAP candidates must be "well-qualified" (score of 85 or higher). All qualifications must be met by the closing date.
