Job Description

Summary

Develop, sustain, and provide expert electronics engineering advice for complex weapon systems projects and requirements.

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Engineer to contribute to the acquisition, development, and sustainment of complex weapon systems.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Apply advanced electronics engineering principles to define system requirements, lead projects, and provide expert technical advice.
  • Conduct development testing and evaluation, applying experimental theories to support weapon systems, subsystems, and equipment.
  • Plan, design, test, troubleshoot, evaluate, and oversee the development and/or sustainment of electronic systems for integrated air-vehicles, ground systems, and support equipment.
  • Utilize systems engineering practices for sustainment, modification, logistics, and production management.
  • Devise and evaluate design approaches, criteria, and assess the impact of new technology on existing systems.
  • *Qualifications:**
  • **Education:**
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program. * *or* a Bachelor's in Engineering including differential/integral calculus and advanced courses in five of seven specified engineering science/physics areas (e.g., statics, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, electrical fields, materials). * *or* a combination of college-level education, training, and experience demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of engineering sciences and their application.
  • **Experience:**
* Minimum of 1 year of specialized experience applying advanced electronics engineering principles to the acquisition, development, and sustainment of complex weapon systems. * Experience should include defining system requirements, leading projects, and providing expert technical advice to senior management.
  • **Key Skills & Competencies:**
* Strong knowledge of professional electronics engineering concepts, principles, and advanced theories. * Expertise in development testing and evaluation for weapon systems. * Proficiency in planning, designing, testing, and troubleshooting electronic systems for air-vehicles, ground systems, and support equipment. * Familiarity with systems engineering practices, acquisition regulations, and other engineering disciplines. * Ability to evaluate design criteria and assess new technology impact. * Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate professionally with diverse stakeholders.
