Summary

Seeking a senior Engineer to provide expert guidance and resolve issues for electronic chip, smartcard, and security IC technologies.

This role seeks an experienced Engineer to provide technical expertise and leadership in electronic chip, smartcard, and security integrated chip (IC) technologies.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Provide expert guidance and advice on electronic chip and smartcard technology developments and trends.
  • Interpret customer specifications to ensure products meet required standards.
  • Identify and solve complex problems related to chip, smartcard, and security IC technology performance (e.g., interoperability, speed, memory, encryption).
  • Collaborate with industry experts, vendors, and internal technical staff to manage technology configuration processes.
  • *Qualifications:**
  • **Education:**
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program. * **or** a combination of education and experience demonstrating thorough knowledge of engineering principles, evidenced by: * Professional registration (Engineer Intern, Engineer in Training, or Professional Engineer). * Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examination. * Successful completion of at least 60 semester hours in physical, mathematical, and engineering sciences, including calculus and advanced engineering/physics courses. * A bachelor's degree in a related scientific field (e.g., engineering technology, physics, computer science) combined with at least one year of professional engineering experience acquired under supervision.
  • **Experience:**
* Minimum of one year of advanced, specialized experience equivalent to a senior-level position, including: * Providing guidance and advice on electronic chips and smartcard technologies, developments, and trends. * Interpreting customer specifications to ensure products meet standards; identifying and solving problems related to chip, smartcard, and security IC technology performance (e.g., interoperability, speed, memory, and encryption). * Communicating with industry experts, vendors, and technical staff to manage chip, smartcard, and security IC technologies configuration processes.
