Electronics Engineer

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Support the specification of system and software requirements.
• Develop and implement systems or software solutions.
• Transition systems and software successfully into operational environments.
• Apply algorithms for data processing to enhance quality or extract relevant parameters.
• Conduct data analysis by applying algorithms to extract critical information.
• Contribute across the full lifecycle, from applied research through development to operational support.
• *Required Qualifications:**
• **GS-13 Equivalent:** Minimum one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service, or comparable private/public sector experience. This experience must demonstrate proficiency in requirements specification, system/software development, operational transition, and data processing/analysis using algorithms.
• **GS-12 Equivalent (Developmental):** Minimum one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 level, focusing on progressively gaining experience under decreasing supervision towards the full scope of duties.
• **GS-11 Equivalent (Developmental):** Minimum one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 level, applying a broad knowledge of diverse engineering concepts and adapting guidelines for specific assignments with supervisory guidance on unusual problems.
• *Note:** Experience refers to paid and unpaid work, including volunteer efforts, which build critical competencies and skills.
