Job Description

Summary

Seeking Electrical Engineers for design, project management, COTR, and power system studies at various federal grade levels.

We are seeking qualified Electrical Engineers to manage and contribute to critical electrical and electronic systems within a federal environment. This role involves comprehensive technical expertise and project oversight across various system lifecycles.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Provide technical advice on electrical and electronic aspects of design, operation, and mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Manage projects within the electrical discipline, including scheduling, resources, and trade coordination.
  • Serve as a Contracting Officer Technical Representative (COTR) or equivalent for assigned construction and consultant contracts.
  • Conduct specialized electrical engineering studies, including power quality, capacity, remediation, UPS, emergency power strategy, short circuit, load coordination, and control system strategies.
  • *Specialized Experience Requirements:**

Candidates must possess specialized experience (minimum 52 weeks at the next lower federal grade level) that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specific requirements vary by grade:

  • **GS-13:** Experience equivalent to the GS-12 level, including providing expert advice in the listed areas.
  • **GS-12:** Experience equivalent to the GS-11 level, including providing advice in the listed areas.
  • **GS-11:** Experience equivalent to the GS-09 level, including providing advice in the listed areas.
