Summary
Lead assessment policies for special populations, ensuring compliance, appropriate alternative tests, and providing educator training.
- *Education Assessment Specialist (Special Populations)**
- *Responsibilities:**
- Serve as a subject matter expert on assessment policies for special populations (e.g., students with disabilities, multilingual learners).
- Select and ensure the use of appropriate alternative assessments for students with disabilities.
- Oversee and coordinate test administration and apply policies for testing accommodations.
- Analyze assessment data to identify and address achievement gaps.
- Provide training to educators and administrators on assessment accommodations, accessibility tools, and test protocols.
- *Qualifications:**
- **Education:** Bachelor's degree or higher in Education or a related subject-matter field.
- **Experience:** Minimum one year of specialized experience as an above-school-level expert in assessment policies for special populations, specifically including:
