Summary
Lead strategic human resources initiatives and manage a diverse workforce in a large, complex organization, applying Federal employment law.
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources leader to manage and direct comprehensive human capital functions within a large, complex organization.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead and manage the human resources department, developing and communicating all HR programs, policies, and procedures.
- Formulate and execute HR strategies that directly advance organizational goals, ensuring alignment and measurable impact.
- Develop, launch, and enhance HR initiatives including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, training, high-potential programs, and succession planning.
- Apply knowledge of employment and benefit laws, with practical experience in or exposure to Federal Government employment.
- Build strong cooperative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, expertly negotiating solutions for complex interests.
- Lead, supervise, and develop a multi-disciplined workforce, fostering teamwork, high morale, and talent retention.
- *Required Qualifications:**
- Proven managerial and leadership competence.
- Bachelor's degree in an applicable field or equivalent education/experience.
- One year of specialized experience at the GS-15 level (or equivalent) leading HR/human capital functions in a large, complex organization.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing impactful HR strategies.
- Expertise in developing and enhancing diverse HR program initiatives.
- Knowledge and practical application of employment and benefit laws.
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, and motivate a talented workforce.
- *Preferred Qualifications:**
- Advanced degree (e.g., JD, MBA, MPP).
- SHRM certification.
