## Director for Analysis, Senior Executive Service (SES)

  • *Role Overview:**
Lead a critical analytical unit, providing strategic insights and driving policy initiatives within the Senior Executive Service. This executive position requires a proven leader with deep financial expertise, exceptional analytical skills, and a commitment to public service.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Direct and manage an organizational unit, ensuring program success and goal achievement.
  • Supervise and develop staff, fostering a high-performance, accountable work environment.
  • Execute significant policy-making and executive functions.
  • Lead complex policy initiatives and projects involving multiple internal and external partners.
  • Oversee and manage teams conducting financial and economic analysis.
  • Drive efficiency through strategic resource management and process/technology upgrades.
  • Develop new interdisciplinary analytical processes and products for senior decision-makers.
  • Brief senior leadership on complex financial and economic findings.
  • *Required Qualifications:**
  • **Experience:**
* Demonstrated managerial experience at or above the GS-15 level (or equivalent) in public or private sector. * Proven ability to lead, direct, and hold teams accountable for results. * In-depth understanding of financial stability issues and economic trends affecting financial markets and institutions. * Extensive background in financial or economic analysis, particularly related to financial institutions and/or regulation. * Experience collaborating effectively with government entities. * Strong analytical skills, including researching, interpreting, and analyzing large, complex datasets.
