Job Description
Lead enterprise-level financial management, strategy, and policy, advising senior executives within the Senior Executive Service.
We are seeking a highly experienced financial executive for a Senior Executive Service (SES) position. This role requires exceptional leadership in financial management and policy development.
**Resume Requirements:**
Submit a concise, two-page resume detailing progressively responsible supervisory, managerial, or professional experience in managing programs or organizations of significant scope and complexity. Highlight accomplishments demonstrating executive-level responsibilities, including directing work, ensuring accountability, monitoring goals, and policy development. If applicable, clearly state current career SES status, eligibility for reinstatement, or SES Candidate Development Program (CDP) certification with the year. Your resume must clearly address how you meet the Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs) and Mandatory Technical Qualifications (MTQs). Do not submit separate documents for ECQs or MTQs.
**Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs):**
Candidates must demonstrate executive experience across five core areas:

* **Driving Efficiency:** Strategic resource and budget management, waste reduction, and leveraging technology for improvements.

* **Achieving Results:** Attaining individual and organizational goals, aligning outcomes with strategic objectives.
Fundamental competencies like communication, integrity, and continuous learning are also essential.
**Mandatory Technical Qualifications (MTQs):**
Your resume must showcase proven experience in:
1. **Enterprise Financial Leadership:** Leading comprehensive financial management at an enterprise level, including budget, execution, internal controls, systems, accounting oversight, and compliance with Federal financial regulations (e.g., FMFIA, A-123).
2. **Policy Development & Guidance:** Developing and implementing agency-wide financial/budgetary policies, providing expert counsel to senior officials, analyzing deficiencies, and formulating solutions for diverse financial programs.
3. **Strategic Financial Advisory:** Advising senior executives on financial performance, strategic planning, and resource allocation. This includes data synthesis, designing reporting tools, and providing financial insights for complex national or international decisions.
