- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Ensure comprehensive compliance with federal accounting standards (FASAB, OMB Circular A-136) and internal controls (GAO Green Book, OMB Circular A-123).
- Implement and leverage automation technologies to streamline financial reporting, improve data accuracy, and enhance overall process efficiency.
- Strategically manage financial resources, optimize budgets, and identify opportunities for cost-cutting and fiscal responsibility.
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Drive organizational results by translating strategies into actionable steps, promoting innovation, and achieving alignment with governmental objectives.
- Uphold the U.S. Constitution, the rule of law, and the principles of the American founding in all governmental operations.
- *Required Qualifications & Experience:**
- **Federal Financial Management Expertise:** Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge and application of federal accounting standards (FASAB, OMB A-136) and internal controls (GAO Green Book, OMB A-123).
- **Technology & Efficiency:** Proven experience leveraging automation technologies to improve financial reporting, processes, and compliance within federal financial management.
- **Strategic Leadership:** Ability to strategically manage resources, budget effectively, cut wasteful spending, and drive efficiency through process and technological upgrades.
- **People Management:** Strong ability to lead, inspire, develop, and hold individuals accountable, fostering a high-performance and high-accountability culture.
