## Director, Corporate Communications

Join Capital One’s Global External Affairs team to lead strategic communications initiatives that enhance the company’s reputation and support key business objectives. This role demands a blend of strategy, execution, and people leadership, driving high-impact programs through collaboration with internal and external partners.

### Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a strategic communications advisor to senior-level internal leaders.
• Lead planning and execution of data-backed, integrated internal communications campaigns aligned with enterprise priorities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Leverage data to evaluate program results, extract insights, and optimize future strategies.
• Oversee team operations, including budgeting and the development of best practices.
• Stay informed about industry trends to continuously enhance communication approaches.

### Qualifications:

• *Basic:**
• Bachelor’s degree or military experience.
• At least 8 years of communications experience.
• *Preferred:**
• 9+ years of experience in public relations or communications, ideally within financial services, technology, or consumer brands.

### Salary & Benefits:

• **Annual Full-Time Salary Ranges:**

* McLean, VA: $184,800 - $210,900 * Richmond, VA: $168,000 - $191,700

• This role is also eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives.
