## Director, Content Marketing and Audience Engagement

NAB Show is the premier annual event for broadcast, media, and entertainment professionals, focusing on driving audience engagement and creating unique audio/visual experiences. Produced by the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), we advocate for radio and television interests through advocacy, education, and innovation.

  • *Role Summary:**
As the Director, Content Marketing and Audience Engagement, you will develop and execute year-round strategies to drive audience growth and retention for NAB Show and NAB Show New York. This pivotal role involves creating compelling content experiences, nurturing leads, enhancing exhibitor value, and overseeing marketing and communications operations.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Lead comprehensive content marketing and editorial strategies across owned media channels (website, social media, email).
  • Oversee the creation and execution of diverse content, including articles, newsletters, videos, webinars, and thought leadership.
  • Develop engaging content experiences for lead nurturing and audience retention, incorporating interviews with senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and programming teams to ensure content aligns with campaign objectives, audience segmentation, and conversion goals.
  • Manage conference partner marketing strategies and execution.
  • Cultivate relationships with attendees, exhibitors, and industry influencers through a year-round content plan.
  • Build and manage an active digital community, repurposing conference content and developing speaker/influencer engagement programs.
  • Co-create innovative content with exhibitors, sponsors, and strategic media partners.
  • Define, track, and optimize content performance KPIs using analytics tools, ensuring strong SEO practices to drive organic traffic.
  • *Required Qualifications:**
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in business-to-business direct marketing across digital, print, and partner channels.
  • In-depth understanding of customer acquisition strategies, communication development, and direct selling.
  • Proficiency with website structure, content standards, CMS platforms, and website analytics.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Availability for domestic travel up to 5%.
  • *Preferred Qualifications:**
  • Master's degree in Marketing.
  • Experience working within a matrixed organization, particularly with large-scale event marketing.
  • *Work Location:**
This is a hybrid role requiring at least three days per week in the Washington D.C. office, with occasional domestic travel (up to 5%).
