Lead strategic C4/missile defense initiatives, driving efficiency and achieving national security results through expert executive leadership.
We are seeking a dedicated leader committed to enhancing Federal government efficiency, upholding the rule of law, and serving the American people. This Senior Executive Service (SES) role requires strategic vision and exceptional leadership in critical national security domains.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- **Strategic Defense Analysis:** Analyze complex C4 (Command, Control, Communications, and Computers) and/or missile defense enterprise issues, focusing on portfolio management, resources, and acquisition programs.
- **Programmatic Guidance:** Translate broad national security objectives and policies into specific programmatic guidance for space and/or missile defense portfolios.
- **Resource Management:** Strategically manage and allocate financial and human resources, driving efficiency, identifying cost savings, and leveraging technology to achieve organizational goals.
- **Executive Leadership:** Lead and inspire high-performing teams, fostering accountability, developing talent, and making well-reasoned decisions.
- **Results Achievement:** Effectively translate strategies into actionable steps, drive implementation, innovate processes, and align organizational outcomes with strategic objectives.
- *Required Qualifications & Competencies:**
- **C4/Missile Defense Expertise:** Demonstrated ability and broad background in C4 and/or missile defense enterprise-related research, development, and acquisition matters.
- **American Government Principles:** Deep understanding of the American system of government, the Constitution, and a strong commitment to the rule of law and public service.
- **Fiscal Responsibility:** Proven ability to manage budgets, cut wasteful spending, and pursue efficiency through process and technological upgrades.
- **Problem-Solving & Agility:** Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving, adaptability, and resilience in complex environments.
- **Executive Judgment:** Strong ability to make timely and effective decisions, communicate across all organizational levels, and lead through change.
