The Director, Torts Branch, FTCA Section, leads a critical legal team, overseeing complex Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) litigation and ensuring the highest standards of legal counsel and organizational efficiency.

• Lead and inspire a legal team to achieve organizational vision, mission, and goals.
• Strategically manage resources, budget effectively, and drive efficiency through process and technological upgrades.
• Develop and implement legal strategies for U.S. courts, providing sound and timely legal counsel.
• Oversee and manage the activities of a legal organization, ensuring high-quality and reliable work.
• Handle and direct complex, high-profile, and controversial FTCA litigation cases.
• Uphold the Constitution, the Rule of Law, and serve the American people.
• *Mandatory Qualifications & Experience:**
• **Significant Legal Expertise:** Demonstrated experience in Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) litigation, particularly with complex, high-profile cases.
• **Leadership & Management:** Proven ability to plan and oversee legal organization activities, including developing strategies and providing high-level legal counsel.
