Manage Marine Corps Safety Division's digital presence, overseeing website, social media, and SharePoint content, requiring an active Secret Clearance.

Vistra Communications is seeking a **Digital Communications Coordinator** to manage the online presence for the Commandant of the Marine Corps Safety Division (CMC SD). This **onsite role in Arlington, VA**, is critical in promoting a culture of safety across the Marine Corps through various digital platforms.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • **Digital Strategy & Promotion:** Develop and execute long and short-term digital strategies to promote safety within the Marine Corps, including marketing for the Marine Corps Safety Management System (MCSMS).
  • **Website Management:**
* Oversee the CMC SD public website, performing monthly content reviews, updates, and audits. * Identify and implement improvements for website functionality, user experience, and traffic generation. * Ensure website content aligns with organizational brand, strategy, and standards.
  • **SharePoint Administration:**
* Manage content and user access for internal SharePoint sites. * Administer user privileges and serve as the primary liaison with Enterprise IT Services for site development and troubleshooting.
  • **Social Media Management:**
* Manage CMC SD's social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, etc.), developing and executing social media campaigns and content calendars. * Create compelling graphics and leverage analytics to increase and track engagement.

  • *Required Qualifications:**
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of five years of experience managing websites and social media channels, including content creation, analytics, and community engagement.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint site management, including content and user access administration.
  • Working knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS) like AFPIMS (or similar).
  • Strong understanding of social media marketing principles and experience executing campaigns.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • **Active Secret Security Clearance is mandatory.**
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Experience working with government or military organizations is highly desirable.
