Design Engineer For High Performance Computing - Mid To Experienced Level (Maryland)

We are seeking skilled Hardware/Electrical Engineers to join our team, focusing on digital equipment design and related technologies. This role offers opportunities at both Full Performance and Senior levels.

• *Minimum Qualifications:**
• **Education:** Bachelor's degree or higher in Professional Engineering, Physics, Astronomy, or a relevant technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Chemistry, Mathematics, Architecture, Hydrology, Geology) from an accredited institution.

* **Note:** If your program is not ABET accredited, specified coursework in differential/integral calculus and 5 additional areas (e.g., statics, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetics, materials science, solid-state electronics, computer systems, digital design, circuits, software development) is required.

• **Relevant Experience:** Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas:

* Digital equipment design * Assembling computers * Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools * Hardware Description Language (HDL) * Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design

• *Experience Levels:**
• **Full Performance Level:**

* **With an Engineering Degree:** Bachelor's + 3 years relevant experience; or Master's + 1 year relevant experience; or Doctorate + 0 years relevant experience. * **With Physics, Astronomy, or other Technical Degrees:** Bachelor's + 3 years relevant experience; or Master's/Doctorate + 1 year relevant experience.

• **Senior Level:**

* **With Any Approved Degree:** Bachelor's + 7 years relevant experience; or Master's + 5 years relevant experience; or Doctorate + 3 years relevant experience. * **Additional Senior Requirement:** At least 1 year of project management experience or a project management certification (e.g., DAWIA, PMP).
