Deputy Director, Office Of Copyright Records

We are seeking a highly capable and experienced leader to oversee a significant public program. This role requires strategic vision, strong leadership, and exceptional communication skills to drive program success and manage a diverse team.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• **Program Management & Oversight:** Lead a major public program, ensuring consistent policy application and achieving strategic and operational goals. Develop long-range plans, detailed objectives, and modernize functions for streamlined integration and compliance.
• **Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration:** Serve as a key liaison, effectively representing, negotiating, and advocating for the program. Build and maintain strong coalitions, influencing and inspiring stakeholders to achieve results and champion organizational missions.
• **Team Leadership & Development:** Lead and supervise a diverse, multi-disciplinary workforce. Manage all aspects of staff, including recruitment, performance evaluation, professional development, and fostering improved productivity.
• *Required Qualifications:**
• Proven track record in managing and overseeing major public programs.
• Demonstrated ability to build coalitions, negotiate, and collaborate effectively with diverse groups.
• Extensive experience leading and supervising a diverse workforce.
• Exceptional written communication skills for producing clear, well-organized reports, policies, and strategic documents.
• Strong oral communication skills for delivering impactful briefings, consultations, and presentations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both formal and informal settings, engaging with colleagues and the public.
