Lead federal legal operations, providing expert counsel on health policy and administrative law for CMS programs.

- *Key Responsibilities & Expertise:**
- Provide extensive legal counsel on laws governing CMS programs, including Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP, private insurance market reforms, and consumer surprise billing.
- Apply deep expertise in administrative law, including the Administrative Procedure Act (APA) and the Congressional Review Act (CRA).
- Lead and guide a large team in complex legal analysis, offering advice on novel legal issues.
- Coordinate critical, cross-cutting, and time-sensitive legal matters with CMS, CMSD, and OGC leadership.
- Direct and mentor regulatory lawyers and supporting personnel, ensuring high-quality, timely support for rulemakings, guidance documents, and agency initiatives.
- Set strategic priorities and effectively manage resources to meet client needs for a high-functioning legal group.
- *Qualifications:**
