## Senior Executive Service (SES) Leader - Strategic Defense Acquisition
- *Overview:**
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Analyze complex portfolio management and major defense acquisition programs.
- Translate broad national security objectives into specific programmatic guidance for critical areas (e.g., space, strategic deterrence, C4/ISR, Nuclear C3).
- Strategically manage resources, optimize budgets, and implement technological efficiencies.
- Lead, inspire, and hold teams accountable to achieve organizational vision and goals.
- Demonstrate exceptional technical competence, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability.
- Uphold the U.S. Constitution and ensure fair application of the rule of law.
- *Required Qualifications:**
Candidates must clearly demonstrate the following:
- **Technical Qualifications (TQs):**
- **Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs) - All five are mandatory:**
- **SES Eligibility:** Must be a current SES member, certified through an OPM-approved SES Candidate Development Program (SESCDP), or have SES reinstatement eligibility. Proof of eligibility is required.
