Summary

Direct public/media relations and legislative affairs for a national law enforcement agency, leveraging executive leadership and strategic communication.

This executive-level position leads public/media relations and legislative affairs for a large, complex nationwide law enforcement organization. The role requires strategic leadership, expert communication, and deep knowledge of government processes.

  • *Key Responsibilities & Focus Areas:**
  • Direct advanced public/media relations programs and legislative affairs activities.
  • Strategically manage resources, budgets, and drive operational efficiency and innovation.
  • Lead and inspire high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability.
  • Communicate complex, sensitive, and controversial issues to diverse, high-level audiences including Congress, media, senior executives, and the public.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of the legislative process, including Congressional procedures, to propose and monitor legislation.
  • Demonstrate strong commitment to the rule of law, American founding principles, and service to the American people.

  • **Legislative Process Knowledge:** Applied knowledge of Congressional procedures, practices, and guidelines for proposing, monitoring, and communicating legislative goals.
