Job Description
Executive leader sought to oversee multi-billion dollar financial operations, drive strategic change, and lead complex programs with key stakeholders.
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic executive leader to join the FAA Executive System. This role requires demonstrated expertise in financial management, operational leadership, and driving organizational change within a complex environment.
**Key Responsibilities & Leadership Requirements (LR):**
* **Achieving Operational Results:** Lead and deliver significant operational results by establishing clear goals, assessing outcomes, and continuously improving products and services. Identify and meet customer requirements, addressing stakeholder needs, and resolving complex problems.
* **Leading People:** Foster positive, inclusive work environments, mentor and develop employees, and build high-performing individual and team capabilities. Effectively lead teams, including in matrix organizational structures.
* **Building Relationships:** Collaborate effectively with diverse individuals, building consensus and cooperation among those with competing priorities to achieve organizational goals. Communicate information clearly within and outside the organization.
* **Leading Strategic Change:** Drive strategic changes across an agency or organizational components, applying long-range vision, developing innovative strategies, and overcoming obstacles to benefit the organization.
**Mandatory Technical Requirements (TQ):**
* **Executive Financial Oversight:** Possess executive-level experience overseeing an organization managing multi-billion dollar budgets. Lead all core financial management functions, including budget formulation/execution, cost analysis, forecasting, financial reporting, and internal controls to support strategic decisions and ensure compliance.
* **Stakeholder Influence:** Proven experience influencing high-level stakeholders, such as Boards of Directors, Members of Congress, or senior organizational officials, on critical budget and financial management issues.

* Must have progressively responsible supervisory, managerial, or professional experience (normally at GS-15 level or equivalent) within the past 10 years, managing programs/organizations of significant scope and complexity.
