## Data Scientist (GS-13 Equivalent)

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to apply advanced analytical techniques, develop automated solutions, and deliver data-driven insights that inform critical decision-making.

### Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize mathematical, statistical, and computer science principles to design, model, interpret, and report on quantitative data, trends, and correlations.
• Develop automated solutions for complex analytical problems.
• Perform comprehensive data cleaning, manipulation, and creation of derived metrics.
• Employ data visualization tools to effectively communicate analytical results through graphics, charts, and complex visualizations.
• Translate and present technical content clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders, management, and other agencies.
• Develop computational algorithms and statistical methods to identify patterns and relationships within large datasets.
• Write clean, efficient code in various programming languages.
• Provide actionable, data-driven insights and recommendations for operational improvements and strategic decisions.

• *Specialized Experience:**
• One year of specialized experience performing duties at a level equivalent to the GS-12 federal service. This experience must demonstrate proficiency in applying computer science, mathematical, and statistical theories to complex data analysis, automated solution development, and providing data-driven recommendations.
• *Education (Basic Requirement):**
• Successful completion of a 4-year Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Data Science.
• or a combination of education and experience: Courses equivalent to a major field of study (24 semester hours) in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Data Science, plus additional relevant education and appropriate professional experience.
