DATA SCIENTIST

This position seeks a highly qualified professional to contribute to program planning, data analysis, and strategic communication within a federal environment at the GS-13 level. **Key Responsibilities:** * Participate in the planning, design, development, and documentation of operational concepts and strategies for assigned programs/projects. * Utilize data analytics to develop robust data structures, validate data sources, and evaluate data management tools. * Develop and deliver clear, concise presentations on project progress, findings, and results. **Required Qualifications:** **Education:** * A bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a directly related field. Transcripts are required. * OR a combination of education (equivalent to 30 semester hours in a relevant field) and appropriate experience. Transcripts are required. **Specialized Experience (GS-13):** * At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service, or comparable experience outside the Federal service. * Experience must demonstrate proficiency in the core responsibilities listed above. **Additional Requirements:** * **For Federal Employees:** Must have served 52 weeks as a GS-12 or higher. * Applicants must clearly demonstrate relevant knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) in their resume.
