Data Scientist

This position seeks a highly qualified professional to contribute to program planning, data analysis, and strategic communication within a federal environment at the GS-13 level.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Participate in the planning, design, development, and documentation of operational concepts and strategies for assigned programs/projects.
• Utilize data analytics to develop robust data structures, validate data sources, and evaluate data management tools.
• Develop and deliver clear, concise presentations on project progress, findings, and results.
• *Required Qualifications:**
• *Education:**
• A bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a directly related field. Transcripts are required.
• or a combination of education (equivalent to 30 semester hours in a relevant field) and appropriate experience. Transcripts are required.
• *Specialized Experience (GS-13):**
• At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service, or comparable experience outside the Federal service.
• Experience must demonstrate proficiency in the core responsibilities listed above.
• *Additional Requirements:**
• **For Federal Employees:** Must have served 52 weeks as a GS-12 or higher.
