Summary
Conduct criminal investigations, from evidence collection to reporting, applying legal frameworks within a federal agency.
Seeking dedicated professionals for a federal agency to conduct comprehensive criminal investigations across multiple grade levels (GS-11, GS-12, GS-13).
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the full scope of criminal investigations, utilizing established methodologies and problem-solving techniques.
- Gather investigative leads, collect factual data, and thoroughly analyze evidence.
- Participate in or lead operational planning, searches, seizures, and arrests.
- Prepare precise and comprehensive case reports upon investigation conclusion.
- (For higher levels) Apply a broad understanding of criminal investigative laws, regulations, and guidelines.
- (For higher levels) Identify critical information sources to detect illegal activities and establish probable cause.
- (For higher levels) Communicate investigative findings effectively through oral presentations and written reports.
Qualifications:
