## Criminal Investigator (GS-13 Equivalent)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Criminal Investigator to lead and conduct complex investigations. This role requires a strong understanding of criminal investigative procedures, enforcement laws, and regulations, along with exceptional communication abilities.

### Key Responsibilities:

• Apply a comprehensive understanding of criminal investigative and enforcement laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Identify and leverage critical information sources to detect illegal activity and establish probable cause.
• Conduct in-depth investigations to determine if violations have occurred.
• Prepare and present clear, concise investigative reports and briefings, effectively exchanging information both orally and in writing.

• **Experience:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in federal, state, local government, or the private sector, performing duties related to criminal investigation and enforcement.
• **Skills:** Proven ability in applying criminal investigative techniques, identifying illegal activity, documenting probable cause, and communicating findings effectively.
• **Note:** Education cannot be substituted for specialized experience at this grade level.
