Summary

Seeking law enforcement professionals for investigations and executive protection roles, requiring specialized experience and physical readiness.

Join our federal team in a law enforcement role focusing on investigations and executive protection. We are seeking qualified professionals at the GS-11, GS-12, and GS-13 levels.

  • *Key Responsibilities Vary by Grade Level:**
  • **GS-13 (Executive Protection):** Conduct and lead executive protection operations for high-level government officials. This includes planning for National Special Security Events (NSSE), coordinating travel security details, managing motorcade movements, performing full threat assessments, and collaborating with various local, state, federal, and military protection teams.
  • **GS-12 (Investigations & Operations):** Develop comprehensive operational plans, determine investigative priorities, conduct interviews and interrogations of suspects, prepare detailed reports, and brief findings. Liaise with court officials and law enforcement personnel on case-related matters.
  • **GS-11 (Investigative Support):** Assist in conducting investigations into alleged violations of law, collect and analyze data from diverse sources, and support prosecuting attorneys in preparing technical aspects of cases for court.
  • *Required Qualifications:**
  • **Specialized Experience:**
* **GS-13:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level, typically in conducting executive protection services. * **GS-12:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level, typically in developing operational plans, conducting investigations, interviewing, and report writing. * **GS-11:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level, typically in assisting investigations, data analysis, and legal support.
  • **Education (GS-11 Only):** A Ph.D., equivalent doctoral degree, 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree, or an LL.M. (if related) may substitute for experience at the GS-11 level. Education cannot substitute for experience at GS-12 or GS-13.
  • **Combination (GS-11 Only):** A combination of relevant education and experience may qualify for the GS-11 level.
  • **Time-In-Grade (Federal Employees):** Current or former federal employees must meet time-in-grade requirements (e.g., 52 weeks at GS-12 for a GS-13 position). An SF-50 showing eligibility is required.
  • *Physical Requirements:**
While office work is generally sedentary, this role requires physical exertion during investigations and undercover surveillance. This includes extensive walking, prolonged standing, stooping, bending, and climbing. The position often involves extended duty hours, extensive travel, and requires proficiency in firearms and other law enforcement equipment to operate in hostile environments.

  • *Application Deadline:** October 10, 2025.
