## Director, Creative Content - Athletics
Georgetown University Athletics seeks a dynamic Director, Creative Content to lead and execute the department's digital storytelling strategy. This pivotal role focuses on developing high-quality digital content across all platforms to enhance the Georgetown Hoyas brand and support revenue goals.
### Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital content and storytelling strategy for Georgetown Athletics.
- Oversee the creation of engaging digital content for social media, advertising assets (digital/traditional), and video production.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of student content creators focused on social media, video, and graphic design.
- Produce creative video content and manage media day strategies for various sports.
- Create and execute social media calendars to enhance brand presence and generate revenue.
- Establish brand guidelines and best practices for sport-specific accounts in collaboration with coaching and communications staff.
- Capture video footage at select home and away athletic games and events.
- Continuously research and apply best practices to align content strategy with audience trends.
- Collaborate closely with the Athletics Communications and Marketing offices.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications, Journalism, or Film Production.
- Minimum 2 years of internship or entry-level experience in video production, with a preference for experience within a sports team or organization.
- Excellent knowledge of video and content production, social media strategy, and platform functionalities.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Comprehensive knowledge of video production equipment and creative methods, including sound recording, graphic design, photography, videotaping, lighting, and editing.
- Experience writing copy for voiceovers, interview questions, and other media messages.
- Strong understanding and appreciation for sports, particularly basketball, and how sports media content is consumed.
- Superior written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Willingness and availability to work a non-traditional schedule, including nights and weekends, and to travel as required.
- **Salary Range:** $41,926.00 - $65,090.00
- **Work Mode:** On-Campus
