Summary
Lead legal proceedings, conduct research, and supervise staff, leveraging expertise in copyright law for claim settlements.
We are seeking a highly skilled legal professional to manage complex legal disputes and lead a diverse team. This role requires a proven track record in facilitating settlements and conducting in-depth legal analysis, with a strong emphasis on copyright law.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead and conduct hearings and conferences to facilitate the settlement of claims and counterclaims, including managing proceedings, rendering rulings, and awarding monetary relief.
- Conduct and manage comprehensive legal research, preparing sophisticated written analyses (e.g., legal briefs) for complex legal disputes.
- Evaluate evidence, interpret regulations, statutory provisions, and legal precedents to inform legal strategies.
- Serve as a liaison within and outside the organization, providing authoritative legal guidance and exchanging information.
- *Required Qualifications:**
- Substantial knowledge and proven experience in copyright law and litigation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise a diverse staff effectively.
- Exceptional written communication skills, including the ability to review the writing of others.
- Strong verbal communication skills, including the ability to speak clearly and professionally in various settings, actively listen, and provide accurate information.
