Summary

Coordinate content development, professional learning logistics, and communications for DCPS's Office of Teaching and Learning.

Join the Office of Teaching and Learning (OTL) as a Coordinator, Content and Curriculum, a key role in developing high-quality educational resources and professional development for DCPS educators.

  • *Salary Range:** $73,643 - $83,094

This position is ideal for a highly organized individual passionate about improving student learning experiences through effective program coordination and communication.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Coordinate and implement projects for content teams, including curricular resource development, event planning, and professional development monitoring.
  • Manage logistics and materials preparation for district-wide and cluster-based professional development sessions.
  • Track and report on expenditures, requisitions, and stipends, proactively resolving procurement issues.
  • Review, edit, and format essential documents and presentations for public release.
  • Maintain web portals and support system management of educational materials.
  • Draft and revise internal and external communications, including memos, marketing materials, and newsletters.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and support facilitation of meetings, conferences, and training sessions.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact, efficiently responding to and tracking stakeholder inquiries.
  • *Qualifications:**
  • Bachelor's degree with two to four years of relevant work experience. Master's degree preferred.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • Previous exposure to or experience in the education sector is a plus.
  • Prior experience with program monitoring, evaluation, and data analysis preferred.
  • Experience with current DCPS technology platforms and assessments is beneficial.
